Duly Noted

I am excited about the release of LOST & FOUND.  A gathering of original songs, LOST & FOUND also represents many of the wonderful collaborations I’ve had the honor of being part of in recent years.

LOST & FOUND features Randy Sabien on violin and mandolin on four of the tracks.  I co-wrote two songs with lyricist Jill Wright and several tracks are made better for the presence of Bill Severance on drums; Craig Stull on guitar; Jeff Takaguchi on bass; and David Pinto’s amazing hands on piano.

As with any good songwriting, LOST & FOUND is a personal journey.  Dance To The Music was written for my wife, Emily. Grandma, while written for my own grandmother, Hildred Wright, is dedicated to all the Grandmas of the world and nothing is more fun for me than to be able to perform this song to a group of beautiful elder women who understand the power and strength of a Grandmother’s love.  Garbage Machine was written for any person or corporate ideology that asks us to give our lives over to them. I recorded I Remember You because Johnny Mercer and Victor Schertzinger wrote such an incredibly beautiful song how could anyone resist singing it?

As an independent artist releasing a CD on an independent label, I rely on the kindness of friends and strangers to get the word out about LOST & FOUND.  If you enjoy these songs, I ask that you tell the world about them by giving everyone you know this website address or linking them to the LOST & FOUND page on Facebook.

I am already in the studio recording my next CD.  I can’t wait to share those new songs with you.
